However, there are some simple steps people can take to keep their home from becoming a holiday target. Security expert David Boehm spoke to CBS 2?s Don Dahler about some safety precautions. “Homeowners should be checking all doors and all their locks on a regular basis to make sure they’re not coming loose,” Boehm said.
